10. bis 14. Oktober 2011 :
76 Fellows aus unseren drei Standorten Italien, Frankreich und Deutschland haben sich zu einer intensiven Seminarwoche im Kloster Kartause Ittingen in der Schweiz zusammengefunden. Unterrichtet von Professor Fickert und Dr. Becker standen die Themen Management Accounting und Controlling im Mittelpunkt. Case studies und Lektures, Unternehmensanalysen und das Arbeiten mit Controllingtools in Kleingruppen bereiten die Ingenieure auf ihre zukünftige Rolle im Management vor. In Zusammenarbeit mit Fellows die 15 Nationalitäten repräsentieren sind fachliche Herausforderungen genauso zu meistern wie Aneignung von interkultureller Kompetenz und Soft-Skills in einem inspirierenden Rahmen des historischen Klosters.

Rencontre entre les directeurs de thèses UPMC, les doctorants "Science et Management" et le Collège des Ingénieurs.
Les équipes de recherche de l'UPMC ont fait le point avec la direction du Collège des Ingénieurs sur l'avancement du Programme "Science et Management" (2ème promotion). Cette réunion a été l'occasion de souligner l'intérêt renouvelé par les doctorants et leurs directeurs de thèse de promouvoir une formation mixte "Science et Management". Que ce soit dans la perspective d'une carrière purement académique ou d'une formation par la recherche en vue d'une évolution dans l'industrie, la formule du Programme "Science et Management" est une réussite.

The CDI organizes a corporate "Learning Expedition" in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
Each year, the CDI organizes several "Learning Expeditions" on behalf of some Corporate Universities. In order to train top managers to "think global", these corporate "Learning Expeditions" are dealing with the main topics of a specific region and its political, economical and cultural issues.
Thanks to its worlwide network, the CDI is able to fulfill this aim.

Turin : A l'occasion du lancement de la troisième campagne de recrutement pour le Programme MBA-Collège des Ingénieurs Italia (SAFM), la promotion 2010-2011 a rencontré Monsieur John Elkann, Président de FIAT et Monsieur Tronchetti Provera, Président de Pirelli.
CDI - in a nutshell
The Management Programme at the CDI is an innovative 10-month MBA programme designed to prepare high potential engineering and science graduates from internationally renowned universities for top-level positions in industry and services sectors.
The CDI is international, highly selective and accepts only 100 participants each year amongst 1400 candidates.
Upon admission, participants automatically receive a salary which includes a stipend which will cover living and training costs.

The CDI and the prestigious Pierre and Marie Curie University have developed a joined programme PhD and MBA "Science and Management".

The "College" concept
In terms of educational theory, the "College" concept breaks free from the conventional, rigidly structured, teaching process which constrains participants to a pre-determined academic curriculum.
The College ethos creates a place of freedom, made possible by the quality and small number of participants. The CDI has created its own network of experts: the CDI Leadership Center.
Alumni
Large indutrial companies and consultancy firms are particularly interested in applications from MBA graduates from the Collège des Ingénieurs. They rate the qualification at the same level as the best international MBAs.
So today the business world is home to a number of College alumni in very high positions.
